Remove a person from a photo
A stranger in the background, a photobomber, a tourist in front of the landmark — tap them once and Alterframe erases them and fills in the scene behind them.

How it works
- 1
Drop your photo in and tap the person you want gone — one tap selects them, head to toe.
- 2
Refine with extra taps or the brush if needed, then switch the effect to Remove.
- 3
Press Apply and download the PNG with the person erased and the background rebuilt.
What people use it for
- Tourists and strangers in front of landmarks
- Photobombers in otherwise perfect shots
- People who didn't agree to be in the photo you're posting
- Passersby in listing, product, and storefront photos
Questions
- Does it work when the person overlaps something else?
- Tap-to-select picks out the person you tapped; where they overlap furniture or another person, trim the selection with − taps or paint it precisely with the brush before removing. The fill rebuilds whatever the scene shows behind them.
- Can I remove several people from one photo?
- Yes — up to 4 selections per photo, each with its own effect: remove two strangers and blur a third in the same render.
- How much does it cost?
- Your first 3 photo edits are free. After that any credit pack unlocks unlimited photo editing for good — photos never spend credits, and there is no watermark. Video editing is 1 credit per started minute, with 3 free credits at signup.
- What formats can I upload?
- JPG, PNG, and WebP, up to 60MB per photo. The result downloads as a PNG.
- What happens to my photo afterwards?
- Your uploads are private to your account. Deleting an edit from your history also deletes the rendered result — and the uploaded photo itself once no other edit uses it.
- What if the selection isn't quite right?
- Refine and render again — extra taps add to the selection, − taps carve pieces out, and the brush paints exactly the region you want. Once photo editing is unlocked, re-rendering costs nothing, so iterate freely.
