Blur a moving object in a video
The part traditional editors make painful — a car driving past, a person walking through, anything in motion. Tap it once; the AI does the tracking, not you.

How it works
- 1
Drop your video in and pause on any frame where the moving object is clearly visible.
- 2
Tap it once — no drawing masks, no keyframes. The AI segments it and follows it through speed and direction changes.
- 3
Press Blur and download the MP4 with the object hidden along its entire path.
What people use it for
- Cars and plates passing through driving or street footage
- People walking through the background of a locked-off shot
- A phone, badge, or document someone carries across the frame
- Fast-moving subjects where manual masks slip and jitter
Questions
- How is this different from motion tracking in a desktop editor?
- Classic trackers follow a box you draw and lose it when the object turns or gets occluded — then you repair keyframes by hand. Alterframe segments the object itself and re-finds it frame by frame, so there's nothing to babysit.
- What if the track drifts on a hard clip?
- Add reference taps on the frames where it goes wrong — up to 8 per object — and render again. Re-renders of the same video within 24 hours are free, so a difficult clip doesn't cost extra credits.
- How much does it cost?
- One credit covers one minute of video, and you get 3 free credits at signup — no card needed. Packs start at $9 for 15 minutes.
- What formats can I upload?
- MP4, MOV, and WebM, up to 60 minutes per video. The result downloads as MP4 with the original audio kept.
- What happens to my video afterwards?
- Your uploads are private to your account. Deleting an edit from your history also deletes the rendered result — and the uploaded video itself once no other edit uses it.
- What if the edit tracks the wrong thing?
- Re-rendering the same video within 24 hours is free (up to 3 fix-it renders per edit), so correcting a track never costs extra credits.
