Can it keep a clean shot of me when we're standing close?
Where you overlap, trim the selection with − taps or paint the edge with the brush so only they're removed. The fill rebuilds whatever the background shows behind them — a wall, a view, a room.
Will it look edited afterward?
The gap is rebuilt from the surrounding scene rather than smudged, so a clean removal reads as a photo that was always just you. Simple backgrounds come out best; a busy one where they overlap you takes a little brushwork.
What if I have a whole set to fix?

What happens to my photo afterwards?
Your uploads are private to your account. Deleting an edit from your history also deletes the rendered result — and the uploaded photo itself once no other edit uses it.
What if the selection isn't quite right?
Refine and render again — extra taps add to the selection, − taps carve pieces out, and the brush paints exactly the region you want. Photo renders are free, so iterating costs nothing.
