Content Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you upload and everything you generate with Alterframe.

Consent is required — always

You may only use the face or likeness of a person who has given you their informed consent for the specific swap you are creating. This applies to the face photo andto every identifiable person in the target video. "It's a public video" or "it's a joke" is not consent. You confirm this for every job you create, and that confirmation is recorded.

Prohibited content

  • Sexual or explicit content of any kind. No nudity, sexual acts, or sexualized depictions — in inputs or outputs, consensual or not. This is a zero-tolerance category.
  • Minors. No uploads that depict anyone under 18 — neither as the face photo nor anywhere in the target video. Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to authorities.
  • Deception and fraud. No impersonation intended to deceive: scams, fabricated statements or endorsements, political or election-related deepfakes, fake news footage, or presenting an output as an authentic recording.
  • Harassment and abuse. No content that targets a person to bully, shame, stalk, defame, or intimidate them.
  • Public figures. No swaps using the likeness of a public figure without their documented consent — satire is not an exception on this Service.
  • Hate and violence. No content that promotes hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
  • Rights violations and illegal content. No content that infringes copyright or other rights, or that is illegal where you or we operate.

How we enforce this

Uploads and jobs may be screened automatically and reviewed by humans. Our inference providers apply their own content restrictions on top of ours. Violations can result in blocked jobs, removed content, forfeited credits, and account termination without refund. We cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

Reporting

If content made with Alterframe targets you or someone you represent, or otherwise violates this policy, use the report channel or email [email protected]. Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery are prioritized and removed within 48 hours.
